The Detect-Rx from Steady State Fate is a full-featured envelope follower which extracts a variety of useful voltages from virtually any input. Its analog envelope follower features adjustable voltage-controllable threshold and can be adjusted between line, +5V and +10V input levels. In addition to regular CV output, the Detect-Rx features a Rectifier output which inverts negative voltages, and an analog comparator for extracting gates from CV. These features, combined with adjustable frequency range, smoothing, and envelope gain, make the Detect-Rx useful for distortion and waveshaping of audio signals as well.
